So what is the Sault Ste. Marie Rally and Fun Run?
When you go to the Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile
Assoc. Groomer Barn to register for $25.00, you will get (2) two fun run maps. A short
one that takes you around the city and the other that will send you out of town, around places throughout the countryside.
The runs can be done by snowmobile or car. When you stop at the businesses on your maps, you will get the map stamped or signed.
Stop at as many places you can, support these places for your snacks, food, gas, etc. for these are the people who donated
many of the door prizes. And there is an All Stop Drawing Too. Look for Colored
Golf Balls at these places, they will give you additional prizes.
Back at headquarters in the VFW, there is more fun. We have a Silent Auction table
set up with kool snowmobile and non snowmobile things. Bid on the items on the table and you can go home with some great deals.
Also as you are waiting for the banquet to
start there will be a 50/50 drawing and a cash bar!! And speaking of the banquet there
will be pasta, meatballs, rolls, salad and desert. All included for your $25.00 fee. This is a good deal.
But its not over yet. With your $25 registration fee,
you get a chance to win a Grand Prize of a 50 inch Plaza T.V (Donated by Erickson Appliance &
Woodys) 1st prizes of Lodging, Food, Games and Fun at the Bay Mills Casino also a chance to win (2) $150.00 gifts certificates (donated
by Chippewa Motors and Leitz Sports Center), and a door prize for almost everybody.
So this is what it's all about. FUN...FUN...FUN! Don't you go missing it!
